Short answer: a vector file (AI, CDR, SVG or PDF) gives the sharpest print. A high-resolution PNG or JPG can also work. If your file needs cleaning up, the manufacturer will tell you what is required.
Vector files (best)
AI, CDR, SVG and PDF files store shapes rather than pixels, so they stay crisp at any size. If your designer made your logo, ask them for the vector original.
High-resolution images (acceptable)
A large PNG or JPG can work when no vector file exists. Send the biggest, cleanest version you have, not a screenshot or a photo of a printed logo.
Colours and text
Share your brand colours or colour codes. Confirm the exact company name, tagline and spelling to be printed on the dial.
Checklist before design approval
- Logo file ready, preferably vector
- Brand colours confirmed
- Company name and tagline spelling checked
